Building Trust in Earth Observation Satellites and Imagery

Space is one of the fastest growing industries globally, leading to many new satellites observing the earth. With this new suite of datasets available, how do businesses determine which can best underpin their business processes, and which data they trust? To measure and improve this trust, you need quality assurance. FrontierSI has been working across government, research, and industry to understand quality assurance needs for earth observation satellite data. This talk will outline the findings to date and promote dialogue to further develop earth observation quality assurance within Australia.
